Trucks are useful vehicles, but they tend to be more expensive than sedans or SUVs. Because of this, many people find themselves looking for a used truck that will let them stick to their budget. Amazingly enough, you can get a very nice, reliable, powerful, and comfortable truck for less than $10,000. If that is your budget, then here are the best used trucks on the market.

The eleventh generation had clean, simple lines and was refreshed for the 2006 model year with improved front seating. You may find one of six different trim levels or get lucky with the spacious F-150 SuperCrew. Depending on the used model you get, the F-150 will have a 4.2L V6 engine, a 4.6L V8, or a 5.4L V8. You can also find an F-150 with a 5.5-foot, 6.5-foot, or 8-foot truck bed and one of several wheelbases.

Depending on the configuration you can, you may get the best-in-class headroom, interior volume, and torque. It should be able to tow 9,500 pounds. While often more expensive, there is an available 4x4 model with increased ground clearance and a better approach angle for this model year.
