1970-1974 Dodge Challenger/Plymouth Barracuda

Dodge had one goal in mind when designing the E-Body—fitting the largest possible engine under the hood. This resulted in the powerful Dodge Challenger/Plymouth Barracuda Hemi. These cars may not have shared body panels or styling—the Challenger had a longer wheelbase—but they are nearly the same mechanically. These second-generation models offered a ridiculously high number of options, including almost every single engine from Chrysler.

Regardless of the model you bring home, there are companies offering all but the rarest parts for restoration. It may be hard to find or afford a million-dollar mint ‘Cuda Hemi to put in your garage, but there are plenty of less expensive options to start a Mopar project car.
