Dodge Ram (Rebel and Power Wagon)
There are two versions of the 2017 Dodge Ram that are ready for off-roading, one more so than the other. The Ram Rebel is essentially a dressed-up version of the Ram with a deluxe interior, larger 33-inch tires, and a Hemi V8. It also has an amazing list of options, such as additional storage and an air suspension. The Power Wagon is the better choice if you plan to spend lots of time off-road, maximizing off-road utility. Its 6.4-liter diesel V8 has 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. To help it go off-road, it also has skid plates, a 14.3-inch ground clearance, and a Borg Warner transfer case that offers a 4-wheel low mode that is crawl friendly. This model also has the drivetrain and suspension optimized for maneuverability and stability on soft terrain or step grades, and it comes standard with a 12,000-pound winch.
